Purchase T2Express Which version should I use? File T2 Short (Nil) return?
  • T2Express version 2025.2 is certified by CRA.
  • For RC59/RC59X Filing, please use FormExpress instead.
  • T2Express version 2019.2 coverage extends to Oct. 31, 2020.
  • T2Express can file T1135 since version 2016.1.
  • Netfile/RSI print for Alberta AT1 is available since v2015.1. Read this link.

T2Express versions 

Each T2Express version covers a specific range of tax years, as shown in the table below. Please ensure that the tax year start/end dates for your T2 return fall within the coverage period of the version you choose. This ensures the software can process your T2 return correctly. For more details, please refer to FAQ page.

In some cases, a return can be completed by several T2Express versions. Typically, the latest version is recommended, as it is the most up-to-date with the latest tax changes from the CRA.

Import tax data from other software
  • T2Express cannot read other T2 software data return file directly. However, if you created .cor file for CIF (Corporate Internet Filing) before, T2Express can import the .cor file into its own t2 data file. Read this link for more details.
